The Cathedral of Monreale was built in 1174 by William II and within you will find breathtaking golden mosaics that depict scenes from both the Old and New Testaments. Over time it has maintained its original configuration and its style as “ecclesiastically loaded”, accentuated by the two majestic rectangular towers that mark the beautiful exterior.
